Catching up with the song challenge...

Bien, me quedé en el día dos del song challenge, que tan patético es eso? Anyway,  me pondré al corriente :P

Day 03: Your favourite album track

Me gusta mucho Blue October :)  Me gustan sus canciones, siento que siempre expresan cosas con las que me puedo identificar. Aunque también tienen canciones que no me gustan y que odio como Dirt Room. Pero esta canción me gusta demasiado; sin embargo, no es una canción que escuche mucho, siento que es como sólo para ocasiones especiales so to say :P.  Se podría decir que es mi favourite album track :P  Tiene algo con lo que me identifico y me gusta el ritmo. :)

Day 04: A song by the first band/artist you saw live

La primer persona que vi en un concierto fue Avril Lavigne :3 Y la canción que les comparto es forgotten porque es la canción que tenía más ganas de verla cantar en vivo entonces.  Aunque no es mi canción favorita de Avril.

Day 05:  A song from your childhood

Pfff.... la que sea de Disney jajajaja me se la letra de todas jajaja :P pero creo que la que más me recuerda ahora es la canción de la bella durmiente porque mi abuelita Elia se murió hace poco y ella siempre me decía que cuando yo estaba chiquito le decía que si bailaba conmigo y que cantaba esa canción. Cada vez que nos veíamos me decía eso,  creo que era de los recuerdos más bonitos que tenía de ella y mio, y ahora es importante también para mí. Cada vez que escucho esa canción me acuerdo de ella y de mi infancia. Miss you grandma :(

Day 06:  A song by your favourite band/artist

Keane.  Me gusta todo lo que hacen :) Ya he puesto antes Perfect Symmetry asi que pondré otra :P  The lovers are losing!! :)

Day 07: A song that reminds you of a tv series

No sé si esto sea trampa porque ES la canción de la serie, pero amo esa canción jijiji :P me pone de muy buen humor ;) además esa serie era buenísima jajajaja 

Day 08:  Your most played song on itunes

I like Jack's Mannequin a lot,  asi que no es sorpresa  :P

Day 09: Favourite new release (has to be less than 2 months old)

The Edge of Glory! me gusta lady gaga :P pero esta canción me gustó demasiado :P la escuchaba varias veces al día cuando habia internet en la casa.... :P

Day 10: An awesome driving track
Beatles!!! I loove the Beatles :P Drive my car :)

He perdido la cuenta pero creo que eso es suficiente por hoy :P

Still no internet... Chicago :)

So yeah... I still don't have internet, my apartment is having problems with the internet and tv cable... isn't it grand, isn't it great, isn't it swell, isn't it fun, isn't it... 

I know what you might be thinking and yeah, I just saw Chicago once again and loved it one more time :) hence my quoting Nowadays :P

Chicago is by far one of my favourite muscials and movies of all time. I just looove all the songs, the costumes, choreography, well just about everything! ^^ It's all like sexy, funny, dark, ironic and great at the same time.  I just love all the characters and how they are played by everyone :) except for Richard Gere who just sings so weird... still one of the best scenes is the tap dance *_* But everyone else is just perfect, you can really get into them and the story is mindblowing, I love how all the songs fit the storyline making such a critic about what is going on in the real world.One of my top 10 parts :P is We booth reached for the gun, the idea of the journalists being Billy's toys is so neat, i love it. 

Anyway,  I'm not just gonna go on and on about how i loove chicago, the reason i am writting this is because last week when i saw the movie, i decided to watch the extra stuff on the dvd. And I came across this video about how once Liza Minnelli played Roxie on Broadway. But what really got to me was the fact that she did this to help her friends because the original Roxie got sick and she came to their help without thinking about it one second. And the way the relationship between everyone involved in the musical seems so familiar and natural that it just makes you feel warm inside yourself.  Here's a video of Liza singing Nowadays when she was doing Chicago. Just watch it.

So, I loved the video because of two reasons: the first one obviously Liza :) God! its like her voice is just something out of this world, there is this kinda like weird thing about how she sings, becase indeed, she sings weird but there is something about it that makes me love her singing. And she makes all these facial expresions while she sings that makes her the more great for me.

However the reason I'm posting this is becase of minute 1:42 and after that. Did you see that!!! did YOU SEE!!! The way she has NO IDEA that Chita (who played Velma on Broadway) will come singing too and how she is just so happy like everyone else is just great. I mean, you could say that it is their job to make everything seem like they are cool work partners; but that CAN'T be fake.  It just looks SOOO natural how they all run to hug Chita and are soo excited that she is also there :) I think that is how all relationships should be like. I mean, these people work together and see each other everyday and still the happiness of seeing the other arive to the show is huge! That is how a work relationship should be like. Enjoying what you do and doing it with the others surrounding you.  :)

And since I'm already talking about Liza and how this scene is how relationships should be like, I'll share another Liza video of my idea of what love is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E3rkLRJ0m0k just see it. The part where the two of them are sittin reading and they see each other, THAT,  is what true love is for me. Being with the other one doing the ordinary stuff and being able to penetrate and feel what the other feels. I love that scene.

Internet

Así que,  ayer volvió el Internet y el teléfono a mi casa!! yey! Desde la semana pasada, el viernes para ser más exactos,  no había teléfono y por ende, tampoco Internet en mi casa. Estuvimos 5 días desconectados del mundo y fue extraño. Es como que no había pensado antes en que tanto nos hemos vuelto dependientes del Internet. No es que mi vida dependa de la computadora o que no pueda hacer nada más. De hecho terminé de leer mi libro y empecé otro y vi varias películas, salí con mi familia, etc. Pero dio la casualidad que se fue el Internet y el teléfono cuando faltaba menos de una semana para que comenzara mi verano y que yo estuviera a la mitad de mandar trámites, ver si cambiaba la fecha de mis vuelos, solicitando información sobre cosas como dress code del hospital, a un día de mi turno para hacer el horario, etc.  Y mi papá estaba haciendo el cierre de su reporte de gastos del mes. Por lo que en verdad se sintió la falta de Internet en la casa. 

Llegamos al punto de necesitar ir al Starbucks para poder hacer las cosas que necesitábamos... Es increíble lo inútil que nos sentíamos sin poder hacer cosas. Era como que estábamos tratando de arreglar el problema de mi fecha de llegada al verano porque mi vuelo llega justo después de que se cierran los horarios para exámenes médicos y sin un examen médico no puedo empezar las actividades en el hospital, which means: perder dos días de trabajo.... way to go! Entonces estábamos todos buscando soluciones para ver como resolver esto y tratando de mandar correos, etc. Pero cualquier cosa que se nos ocurría, no podíamos completarla porque teníamos que ver o costos de vuelos, o preguntar a la gente del hospital cosas, y no había Internet!!!

Recuerdan  como siempre en las películas y en la tele, el buen vecino es con quien podías ir a pedir una taza de azúcar? (como si eso realmente pasara :P) Pues con certeza les puedo decir que el buen vecino del presente es aquel que tiene un Internet sin clave de acceso. #hedicho. *nods* Gracias persona quien quiera que seas del Internet sin clave de acceso!! :) Como a los dos días sin Internet descubrimos que en la cocina, y sólo en la cocina, llegaba la señal de algún lugar y podíamos conectarnos. Así fue como pudimos terminar de hacer cosas como el horario de clases para el verano. 

Probablemente esto es algo obvio pero nunca había pensado qué tanto mi vida estaba ligada al Internet, y digo, el celular tiene Internet y aún así se sintió la falta de Internet en la casa... Tal vez fue en parte por la cantidad de pendientes que teníamos, pero de igual manera, fueron 5 días en los que se notaba que faltaba algo para poder llevar a cabo las cosas que siempre hacemos. 

Y sí, fue también debido a eso que no pude seguir con el song challenge, aunque debo admitir que el día 03 se me olvidó y por eso no lo hice :P but don't worry, me pondré al corriente ;) But for now... I've got a plane to catch!
